An agreement signed in April 2022 paves the way for Denison and Ohio State Wexner Medical Center to
collaborate with the following services:
- Comprehensive health and wellness support, guided by a Wellness Director, backed by evidence-based programs in areas such as mindfulness and physical health.
- Increased access to on-campus mental health services, led by a psychologist in the role of Mental Wellness Director, which includes enhanced specialist care.
- Sports Medicine Services, providing access to comprehensive service offerings and providers, including sports physician and sports training services for student-athletes.
- Improved access to specialty care on campus, such as musculoskeletal therapy and physiotherapy.

The new partnership builds on a growing number of initiatives to support the holistic wellness of Denison’s community, an effort for which the university was recognized in 2020 as one of five colleges to win the award.
